Financial Support for Special Needs
Financial Support
An integral part of the organization’s monthly activities is the department for supporting urgent needs. After receiving desperate requests for financial assistance to save lives immediately, following illness, etc., it was decided to establish a project called “Health from Happiness” which provides a response to families who are at the bedside of one of their family members and are unable to support their household during these difficult times. Despite health fund payments in various programs, parents sitting by their children’s bedsides are not earning a living during these times. Therefore, we will be there to help them during this difficult period. We will also be there for families with other medical disabilities who require special expenses that are not covered by the health basket to provide them with a response at their most difficult time. We will also pray for their recovery, success, and return to work, hoping for healthy and normal days!
Sound Economics
Some families who face financial difficulties find themselves in this situation due to a lack of knowledge about how to manage their family income and use it correctly. For this purpose, volunteers have been trained at the Kupat Hazedaka Hamerkazit to provide guidance and teach families how to balance their existing income and increase it according to the family’s needs. We build a financial recovery plan for them without unnecessary deviations. In addition, the volunteers accompany the family for several months with the goal of enabling them to leave the cycle of poverty and support their family without the need for public assistance.
