Weekly Distribution

Every week, we receive donations of fruits, vegetables, and various consumer products from factories, organizations (such as Latet, Leket, HaTov VeHaMetiv, etc.), packaging plants, and farmers. These items are collected at our logistics center.

Every week, factories, packaging plants, and farmers donate fresh fruits, vegetables, and various consumer products that are collected at our logistics center and stored in refrigeration and freezing units as needed until they are packaged.

Numerous volunteers from high schools, soldiers, and kind-hearted individuals come to sort and package the produce for distribution at various Tuv Lev centers throughout the city.

Thanks to them, hundreds of families benefit from the products distributed every week! Every week, over 400 families receive more than 48 tons of food.

Monthly Distribution

Approximately 700 families registered with the association receive a monthly food package containing dry goods and other consumer products purchased or donated by organizations and kind individuals.

The food is distributed by volunteers, municipal oversight, and kind-hearted people who volunteer their time to help the needy in the community. They are also distributed at distribution centers.

Holiday Distribution

Before the holidays, we witness the despair of families in distress – how will they get through the joyous and pleasant days of the Jewish people in such a difficult financial situation?

At Tuv Lev, the Kupat Hazedaka Hamerkazit, we are intimately familiar with the difficult situations that families find themselves in before the holidays, even those where both spouses work but cannot make ends meet with their salaries. These families, who find themselves in temporary and unpleasant difficulties during the holidays, cannot face their families and celebrate the holiday with joy.

We respond with kindness, increase our efforts, and continue to help, empower, and bring the joy of the holiday to the homes of approximately 1,500 families from all different sectors and diverse populations. They receive select packages containing holiday needs: meat, fish, consumer products, poultry, fruits, vegetables, and dry goods.

Because when you bring joy to mine, I bring joy to yours…

The happiness and joy evident on the faces of the recipients is what motivates us to volunteer and work every day!

Food Distribution Summary:

Weekly Distribution: Donations from factories and organizations are packaged by volunteers for distribution at distribution centers.

Monthly Distribution: 600 families receive a monthly food package donated by organizations and kind individuals.

Holiday Distribution: Select packages containing holiday needs are given to approximately 1,500 needy families.

Volunteers: Children from high schools as well as soldiers and kind-hearted individuals.
