A few words about our work to feed the hungry
Our Soup Kitchens:
The “Ednat Yitzhak” Soup Kitchen: Established in 2009 by the association, thanks to the generous donation of the Amikam family and Malki Ben Zvi and Dov Midan, the soup kitchen is located at 2 Sapir Street, Netanya. It is maintained and operated by the Tuv Lev Kupat Hazedaka Hamerkazit.
At the “Ednat Yitzhak” soup kitchen, located at 2 Sapir Street, Netanya, over seventy needy and lonely individuals dine every Friday, Saturday, and holiday. They receive hearty and nutritious meals served with dignity and warmth. Additionally, on Fridays at lunchtime, food is distributed for Shabbat to those who cannot come to eat.
Operating Hours:
Friday evening, about an hour after Shabbat begins; Saturday morning from 10:30 AM.
"Beit HaOrach" - Warm and Nutritious Meals
Established in 2011, “Beit HaOrach” is located at 11 Lilienblum Street, Netanya. It serves about a hundred men and women daily, providing them with a healthy and satisfying lunch that includes hot, nutritious food.
Meals are also sent to needy families who cannot come due to illness, after childbirth, or if the family is unable to prepare food at home.
The place is open Sunday through Thursday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
A sign is displayed with the names of donors in memory of their loved ones.
